The Italian shipyard has introduced a new line of megayachts, the B.Loft range, which is designed with entirely new architectural principles. These yachts aim to impart a contemporary residential atmosphere to large cruisers, blending “the volumes of a villa with the luminosity of a loft,” as stated by Benetti.
Created by the Italian design firm Cassetta Yacht Designers, the B.Loft yachts will feature elegant lines, minimalist profiles, and expansive glass surfaces. The line will consist of three models, with the B.Loft 65M (shown here) being the first to debut. This new 213-foot model will be positioned in the middle of the range, with plans for at least one smaller and one larger model to be added later.
The inaugural B.Loft boasts a steel hull, an aluminum superstructure, and multi-layered decks that promote a sense of openness and flow. With a remarkable beam just under 35 feet, this spacious yacht accommodates six cabins for 12 guests and nine cabins for 13 crew members. The interior design merges modern matte finishes with natural teak accents, creating an elegant space suitable for entertaining.
A highlight of the B.Loft 65M is the “cabana” located on the main deck. This area surpasses a typical beach club, featuring three glass doors that provide 270-degree views and two fold-down wings that expand the relaxation area to up to 430 square feet. Above, a glass-bottomed pool illuminates the space with various lights, patterns, and shapes.
On the main deck, the semi-enclosed aft area connects to a spacious interior lounge and a lavish lobby. The adjacent dining area boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and a large central table ideal for hosting gatherings. This deck also includes a fully equipped galley and a second lobby featuring a winter garden and additional fold-out balconies.
The upper deck is equally impressive, showcasing soaring 13-foot ceilings and a lobby that Benetti claims is longer and more expansive than those typically found on yachts of this size. A glass-bottomed hot tub on the sundeck above allows light to filter through the water onto the area below.
While Benetti has not provided specific details on propulsion, they indicate that the B.Loft 65M will have a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots. This combination of speed and range is commendable for a floating loft.
