Aquariva Gucci was presented for the first time in International Cannes Boat Show in 2010

Like every year, Cannes Boat Show was held at Festival International De La Plaissance. On the 7th of September 2010 a presentation cocktail was organized for Aquariva Gucci at her special stand located in front of the entrance door of the show. Famous people from jet and business world joined the event in which Norberto Ferreti, the CEO of Ferrettigroup and Patrizio Di Marco, the CEO of Gucci, made presentations.

Aquariva Gucci:
In collaboration the creators of the original Aquariva model, Officina Italiana Design and the creative director of Gucci, Frida Giannini, Aquariva Gucci model has been announced. This model is created to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Gucci ‘s establishment.

This unique collaboration of two of the most important design studios of Italy refers to the La Dolce Vita times in which elegance and passion met with a perfect lifestyle. The history of the brands Gucci and Riva are very similar. The tradition of perfection in workmanship and design, brought into international prominence to both of these brands.

Being loyal to the authenticity of Aquariva of the Officiana Italiana Design, became a principle for Gucci while reestablishing Aquariva. The fiberglass boat which was painted bright white especially for Gucci, was shaped by the perfect workmanship of Riva ( 10 layers of brush, 10 layers of spray, total of 20 layers). Mahogany was used in the laying’s of classically polished cockpits, decks and foldable roof hatches. Along with Guccisima logo on sunbathing decks and on chairs, Gucci’s stunning white cotton fabric was preferred as bed lying. Gucci’s green-red lines which characterizes waterlines, creates a great harmony with green crystal cockpit windows. Other supplementary features of this special edition yacht, are the elegant accessories which are from Riva Gucci collection. With its innovative 2-forward gearbox, unbelievable performance of 380 bg Yanmar Engines are exposed, and the speed limit becomes 41 knots. Aquariva by Gucci’s cruising speed range is 150 nautical miles.
