For the first time, the Award Winning MANGUSTA Oceano 42 “NAMASTÉ” is introdu­ced to the brokerage market. She is part of the “ Mangusta Oceano” line, the full displa­cement long range series of Overmarine-Mangusta.

On its very first world appearance, this brand new beautiful three deck model, Mangus­ta Oceano 42, was awarded the World Yachts Trophies 2016 in the “Best Layout”, 38-54 M category.

This prestigious award acknowledges the work of both designer Alberto Mancini and Overmarine Group, which have skilfully produced a unique 42 metre yacht featuring excellent levels of quality and the design and content of a much larger yacht.

Designed by Alberto Mancini, Namasté has been a major step forward for the renown Overmarine Group Shipyard in building steel and aluminium full displacement yachts. The vessel is a very well built steel hulled full displacement ocean going motor yacht with a bulbous bow and bilge keels. She is beautifully modern and elegant which expresses her proportions through a blend of taught, sharp lines, combined with softer sections.

With the light aboard, a new concept is seen throughout the vessel. On the deck at the bow external area, two separate sunbathing areas are designed to come together in a swimming pool with a waterfall featuring an infinity effect. The glazing on the bottom of the swimmimg pool brings light and semi-transparency into the owners suit head loca­ted on the underlying deck. Astern, on the other hand, the hatch features transversal cuts in glass through a fully furnished beach area. Once open it extends over the sea creating a platform where the glazed surfaces turn into a souce of natural light which lets in the nighttime lighting of the underwater aft lights. Interiors have been designed to welcome 12 guests and 7/8 crew members ensuring the privacy and freedom of move­ment. The interiors are carefully chosen and have outstanding quality. She offers a performance ideal to cross the Atlantic. She guarantees stability both at anchor and underway. The use of very last generation technologies and materials limits both noise and vibrations.
