Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy<\/b><\/h3>

Within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (\u201cLaw\u201d), Blanco Yat\u00e7\u0131l\u0131k Dan\u0131\u015fmanl\u0131k Hizmetleri ve \u0130n\u015faat San. Tic. Ltd. \u015eti. (\u201cCompany\u201d) prioritizes the lawful processing and protection of personal data.<\/p>

In all of our planning and business activities, we act in accordance with this principle. Pursuant to Article 10 of the Law, this Personal Data Protection and Processing Policy has been prepared to inform you about:<\/p>

  • The principles governing the processing of personal data<\/li>
  • The administrative and technical measures implemented for data protection<\/li>
  • Our compliance with the Law<\/li><\/ul>

    I.2 Scope<\/strong><\/h3>

    This Policy determines the conditions under which personal data is processed and sets forth the principles adopted by the Company in processing personal data.<\/p>

    Accordingly, this Policy covers:<\/p>

    • All personal data processing activities carried out by the Company within the scope of the Law<\/li>
    • All categories of personal data processed<\/li>

      Consent that is specific to a particular subject, informed, and freely given.<\/p>

      Public Disclosure<\/strong>
      Personal data made publicly available by the data subject. Such data may be processed without additional consent, provided general principles under the Law are respected.<\/p>

      Anonymization<\/strong>
      Rendering personal data impossible to associate with an identified or identifiable natural person, even when matched with other data.<\/p>

      Data Subject<\/strong>
      The natural person whose personal data is processed.<\/p>

      Personal Data<\/strong>
      Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.<\/p>

      Data Recording System<\/strong>
      A structured system in which personal data is processed according to specific criteria.<\/p>

      Customer<\/strong>
      Natural persons benefiting from Ultramar\u2019s products and services.<\/p>

      Prospective Customer<\/strong>
      Natural persons who show interest in Ultramar\u2019s products and services.<\/p>

      Special Categories of Personal Data<\/strong>
      Data relating to race, ethnic origin, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion, sect or other beliefs, appearance, association membership, health, sexual life, criminal convictions, biometric and genetic data.<\/p>

      Deletion<\/strong>
      Rendering personal data inaccessible and unusable for relevant users.<\/p>

      Data Controller<\/strong>
      The entity determining the purposes and means of processing personal data and responsible for managing the data recording system.<\/p>

      Data Processor<\/strong>
      A natural or legal person processing personal data on behalf of the Data Controller.<\/p>

      Employee Candidate<\/strong>
      A natural person who has applied for a position at the Company.<\/p>

      Visitor<\/strong>
      A natural person visiting Company premises or website.<\/p>

      Third Party<\/strong>
      Persons other than those listed above.<\/p>

        All data is processed in accordance with the Law and relevant legislation.<\/p>

          • Verifying references and qualifications<\/li>
          • Communicating regarding recruitment processes<\/li>
          • Complying with legal obligations<\/li><\/ul>

            Processing for Employees<\/strong><\/h3>

            Employee data is processed for:<\/p>

            • Fulfillment of employment contract obligations<\/li>
            • Performance evaluations<\/li>

                    • Conduct statistical evaluations<\/li><\/ul>

                      IV. Transfer of Personal Data<\/strong><\/h3>

                        Upon expiration of retention periods or elimination of processing purposes, personal data will be:<\/p>

                        • Destroyed<\/li>
                        • Anonymized<\/li><\/ul>

                          in accordance with Article 7 of the Law and relevant regulations.<\/p>

                          VI. Principles Governing Processing<\/strong><\/h3>

                          The Company processes personal data in compliance with the following principles:<\/p>

                          • Lawfulness and fairness<\/li>
                          • Accuracy and up-to-date maintenance<\/li>
                          • Processing for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes<\/li>
                          • Relevance, limitation and proportionality<\/li>
                          • Retention for no longer than necessary<\/li><\/ul>

                            VII. Legal Grounds for Processing<\/strong><\/h3>

                            Personal data may be processed where at least one of the following conditions applies:<\/p>

                            • Explicit provision in laws<\/li>

                              • Learn the purpose of processing<\/li>

                              • Request correction or deletion<\/li>
                              • Object to automated decision-making<\/li>
                              • Request compensation for damages<\/li><\/ul>

                                X. Confidentiality<\/strong><\/h3>

                                All personal data is confidential. Necessary technical and administrative measures are implemented to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse.<\/p>

                                XI. Data Protection Measures<\/strong><\/h3>

                                In accordance with Article 12 of the Law, the Company implements regular audits, security controls, and compliance measures to ensure personal data protection.<\/p>

                                XII. Personal Data Breach Management<\/strong><\/h3>

                                In case of unlawful acquisition of personal data, the Company will notify the relevant data subjects and the Personal Data Protection Board without delay.<\/p>

                                XIII. Amendments<\/strong><\/h3>

                                The Company reserves the right to amend this Policy in line with legal requirements and corporate policies.
